Mayo Days
Third record with Bendero & Mars. I go back and forth between this or TLG being my favourites. For me, this album represents us best. Highlights are Swollen Rats, Happy Anyway, and Mic Darto.

Tonya, Lem & Gene
Second record with Bendero & Mars. Album title came from the idea of a name change, because we all hate Bendero & Mars. Thought it would be funny to never address who Tonya, Lem or Gene were. Highlights are Bad News, Owl, and Cactus Pee.

SLOWPIG
This is really the only solo album that I’m proud of. In my eyes, everything else lead to this. Highlights are Slowpig, Mosquito, and Ab Ovo
BENDERO & MARS
I used to write all of my music alone, until I reconnected with an old friend in 2016 or something. We talked about forming a band, and he introduced me to his best friend. Together, the two of them made up the local legend group Magic Pelvis, and invited me to join in a new project.
Since then, we put out 4 albums together as I continued to record solo music when I had the time. It has been fun.
NIC BENDERO
Started my journey in music as a solo bedroom recording artist, now I’m a basement recording artist with a band. What a progression. I hate most of my solo music, but it represents my progression as a recording artist and musician.
Long term, I’d like to own a label by the name of Slowpig Records, but there doesn’t seem to be much of a point in a label anymore. Mainly, I just want to record myself and other people.
Bendero & Mars took part in a local production highlighting musicians in the area. The concept of the project was “something old, something new, and something re-imagined.” Covers scare us, so we decided to just ruin a song instead of replicating it.
It was fun and awkward being filmed, and there was an interview segment that hopefully never sees the light of day because I have trouble watching myself.

The first and only music video we’ve done. This song is from our first release as a band, and it was a lot of fun to make.
